Eddie Huang is an American film director, chef, author, producer, food personality, restaurateur, and attorney. He was a co-owner of BaoHaus which is a Gua Bao restaurant in the East Village of Lower Manhattan.
Previously he hosted Huan’s World for Viceland. He started his career as an attorney, working at the New York-based law firm Chadbourne & Parke. He joined the corporate law division of the Firm in 2008.
He launched a streetwear brand called Hoodman clothing in 2006. He developed an interest in cooking in childhood while watching the preparation of various dishes in his father’s restaurant. He is popularly known for his blog ‘ Fresh Off The Boat’, which became a bestseller.
